Hi! I’m Steph and I’m new here- “here” being the world of blogging. This is something that I’ve wanted to do for a really long time, but was always hesitant to start. I’m sure I’ll get into the reasons why I was nervous, or maybe I won’t, but for now, let me explain a little bit about myself, and a little bit about what you can expect to see here. 😬

I’m a NJ/PA-raised girl who’s been living in the Ocean State of Rhode Island for upwards of 10 years. I went to the University of Rhode Island and never left. The beaches, fishing towns and charm stole my heart. I also met my husband Dan in RI, also possibly why I never left. 🤷🏻‍♀️ We live with our mini dachshund Watson who we adore.

I think it’s safe to say that RI is home. 🏡

From the time I was a little girl I always traveled. I have my parents to thank for that. Every summer, we’d hop in the car and drive- drive to Florida to go to Disney World, drive to New England, Michigan, and down the entire West Coast-from Seattle to the Redwood Forest, and stopping everywhere in between. I was fortunate that my parents made traveling a priority.

I’m happy to say that I’ve had the travel bug ever since and am lucky that Dan has also caught “the bug.”

I hope to share our travels around the world (and those close to home) with you, keeping in mind that no matter what, travel.
